    The Decision on Changing the Organ in Charge of Sanitary Supervision over the Links of Food Production and Processing was adopted at the eighteenth executive meeting of the fourth session of the Municipal Government and is hereby promulgated. It shall be implemented as of the date of promulgation.

Decision on Changing the Organ in Charge of Sanitary Supervision 

 over the Links of Food Production and Processing 

　　 In order to implement the Decision of the State Council about Further Strengthening Food Safety and further rationalize the food safety management duties of the relevant departments, the following decision is made: 

　　 Shenzhen Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision shall be responsible for sanitary supervision over the links of food production and processing within the administrative areas of the city and be responsible for the sanitary approval of food production enterprises according to the provisions of the relevant laws, regulations and rules; the municipal bureau of quality and technical supervision shall formulate measures on the implementation of specific matters of administrative sanitary approval of food production enterprises and implement them after the examination and approval of the Municipal Government. 

    This decision shall be implemented as of the date of promulgation.
