486 Decision of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government on the Function and Duty Adjustment in Shanty Area Renovation 深圳市人民政府关于棚户区改造工作职权调整的决定

　　In order to promote the renovation of shanty areas in the city in accordance with laws and regulations, the municipal government, after research, decided to:

　　1. Except for geographical name licensing, surveying and mapping, real estate pre-sale, real estate rights registration, and archives management matters, for the administrative licensing, administrative confirmation, administrative punishment, administrative inspection and other functions and duties involved in the shanty area renovation project that were originally exercised by the municipal planning and natural resources department and their agencies, if they are exercised by the municipal planning and natural resources department and their agencies according to the laws and regulations, they shall be exercised by urban renewal agencies of district governments (including the new district management authorities, the same as below) via authorization from the municipal planning and natural resources department and their agencies, except where such entrustment is prohibited by the laws and regulations, or, if they are exercised by the municipal planning and natural resources department and their agencies according to the regulations and normative documents of the municipal government, they shall be exercised by the district governments and their urban renewal agencies.

　　2. This Decision shall become effective as of March 1st, 2019.
